Abstract

|
목적: 본 연구의 목적은 임상간호사의 그릿을 측정하는 도구를 개발하고 타당도와 신뢰도를 검정하는 것이다.
방법: 문헌고찰과 초점 집단의 인터뷰를 통하여 28개의 초기 문항을 도출하였다. 이후 전문가집단의 내용타당도를 통하여 35개의 예비 문항이 도출되었다. 도출된 35개의 문항은 A시 5개의 병원에서 330명의 간호사를 표집하여 자가 보고식 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 305개의 데이터가 분석에 이용되었다.
결과: 탐색적 요인분석을 통하여 3개의 요인, 12문항이 최종 도출되었고, 누적설명력은 58.64%로 나타났다. 요인 1은 5문항으로 ‘장기적인 목표달성을 위한 끈기’, 요인 2는 5문항으로 ‘간호 전문가가 되기 위한 열정’, 요인 3은 4문항으로 ‘환자 지향성 내적 동기’로 명명하였다. 준거 타당도는 상관계수는 .52(p<.001)으로 의미 있는 상관관계를 보였다. 신뢰도 Cronbach's α계수는 .91이었다.
결론: 도구개발 과정을 통해 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증된 임상간호사의 그릿을 측정하는 도구를 개발하였다. 간호사의 그릿을 향상시키는 것은 이직을 예방하는데 기여할 것으로 생각된다.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to develop a scale to measure the grit for nurses and to examine the validity and reliability of the scale.
Methods: Through a literature review and focus group interviews, 28 preliminary items were selected. After a content validity examination by experts, 35 items were chosen. The questionnaire survey for this study was conducted with 330 nurses from five hospitals in A city in Korea. Among them, 305 met the inclusion criteria for analyses.
Results: From the exploratory factor analysis to determine validity, three factors were drawn. The variance explanation by the three factors was 56.62%, which means that the scale explained grit in clinical nurses. The three factors were labeled as ‘sustained persistence’ (5 items), ‘consistency of interest as a nursing professional’ (5 items), and ‘Patient oriented intrinsic motivation’ (4 items). The grit for criterion-related validity showed that the correlation coefficient was .53 (p<.001), validating the developed scale. For internal consistency, Cronbach's ? coefficient was .91.
Conclusion: Through the development process for the instrument as described above, the clinical nurses’ grit was shown to have validity and reliability. Improving the grit of clinical nurses may contribute to prevention of turnover.
